The key to game jam is active participation and meeting fellow developers. Global Game Jam challenges attendees to create a game fitting for the current theme from scratch in just 48 hours. Globally, the jam has a reputation as a creative platform for professional and beginner game developers to create innovative games.
The theme for this year’s Global Game Jam 2019 was: What home means to you. The theme was published with directions via Twitch at Friday 25.1 5 pm. Our jammers split up into four teams and the actual game jam started.
During the event, Finnish Game Jam hosted live streams from jam sites across Finland. Finnish Game Jam crew visited us on Saturday to interview and explore our jam site. You can see more about our office atmosphere during the jam below.
